The colorful fall leaves have dropped, we have already experienced a snowstorm, and the holiday season is fast approaching! Nature has pulled in and down, discarding what she no longer needs (such as the leaves) in preparation for winter ahead. It behooves us to do the same.
Elyce Semenec (yoga & meditation teacher) and Ann E Reibel-Coyne (acupuncturist, tai chi and qi gong teacher) invite you to our Nourishing and Relaxing Seasonal Self Care Workshop which will include:
*A slow paced restorative and rejuvenating yoga sequence of easeful backbends and shoulder openers, peaceful twists, and soft, still forward bends. All poses that will help soothe any frayed edges and calm your anxiety.
*Qi Gong exercises and prevention tips to treat sinus congestion, infection and coughs common this time of the year.
*Breathing exercises and visualizations that will help you feel centered and integrated.
*Info on the food choices, aromatics and herbal medicine that nourish your body, mind and spirit this season.
*Journaling insights and reflections about your life and how you want to align yourself as you look ahead.
